I'm an L.A. based actor, improviser, writer, and proud father... of a terrier mix named Oliver.
I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, but I was dragged kicking and screaming to Florida at the age of 12. I was ultimately thankful for the move though, because it was there, in the dank swamps of Tampa, that I let go of my impossible dream of becoming a professional baseball player, and decided to go with the more practical career choice of professional actor.
I got my B.F.A. in Theatre from Florida State University and shortly after graduating, headed back out west (with a “brief” 6 year layover in Orlando) It was there I found a new love... improvisation.
"Wait, I get to be an actor, but I don't have to memorize lines? I'm in!!!"
- Me, circa 1995
After working my way up the ranks I eventually became an ensemble member at the award winning SAK Comedy Lab where I honed my improv chops, doing 8 performances a week for 3 years.
In 2001, I (finally!) made it back home to Los Angeles. It has been, and continues to be one heck of a ride. Some high points for me include writing and producing at MADtv, being an original cast member of the multiple award winning “Fellowship!: A Musical Parody of Lord of the Rings”, and doing just enough TV, film, national commercials, voiceovers, and web series to keep me from having a day job and/or living under an overpass near the 405 FWY.
